Technical know-how for over 40 years.

The company was founded by Adolf Müller and was originally sited in the border area of Bavaria and Bohemia. After the war the company moved to northern Bavaria in Upper Franconia, and focused on the production of high quality gloves.

After the founder’s son took over the running of the company the product range was extended to include special textiles and safety gloves.

In view of his pending retirement, and following a long-standing association and careful training, Mr Richard Müller passed on the reins to Ms Bettina Bayreuther, who continues to manage MÜTEX with the same high quality standards and expertise.

Delivery reliability, flexibility, quality and customer satisfaction are our highest priorities.

Thanks to end-to-end production from yarn to the finished glove fabric, cloth or glove, we can apply our high quality standards to the entire manufacturing process, to which we attach great importance.

How we feel.

“There is hardly anything in the world that someone cannot make a little worse and seil a little cheaper, and the people who consider price alone are that person’s lawful prey. It is unwise to pay too much, but it is also unwise to pay too little. When you pay much, you lose a little money, that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything because the thing you bought is incapable of doing the thing you bought it to do.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot … It can’t be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder it is well to add something for the risk you run. And if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.”

John Ruskin (English social reformer, 1819-1900)
